The FreeBird Foundation of Evergreen Colorado Launches the Third Book in its Children’s Series, Bruno’s Amazing Adventures
Estes Park, CO. – Author and producer Juliette Winningham of the FreeBird Foundation of Evergreen, CO, along with Co-Author Duane Barone, mental health professional and founder of the nonprofit organization STudent Athletes for Healthy RelationshipS (STAHRS.org), announced today that they will be launching book three of the children’s series, Bruno’s Amazing Adventures, on June 21, 2020. With the launch of book three, Bruno’s Amazing Adventures: The Big Fire, co-written with Nicholas Kistler, the foundation hopes to shine a light on the reality of bullying as it occurs within our communities. The book as well hopes to makes clear the value of understanding others, defusing tense situations and fostering forgiveness, all in the format of a children’s picture book.
This is the third book of a 30-book children’s series entitled Bruno’s Amazing Adventures, a three-year initiative co-created with 30 foundations from around the world to boost visibility and funding for a variety of charitable causes. Years one and two (2020 & 2021) are predominantly focused on causes within the United States. While in year three (2022), Bruno the Bernese Mountain Dog will tackle social causes from around the world. Each book includes a superhero animal that Bruno befriends as they work together to meet the foundation’s mission statement of “Changing the world, one child at a time.”
Bruno’s Amazing Adventures: The Big Fire and other books in the series will be available for purchase as hard-bound volumes or e-books through the Amazon Marketplace as well as other retailers including King Soopers, Barnes and Noble and various independent bookstores.
